Day 1: Kolkata to Paris

Welcome to TravelLive (India) Pvt. Ltd! Our experienced Tour Director will meet and greet you at Kolkata International Airport. They will assist with immigration and customs formalities before you board your flight to Paris.

Upon arriving late afternoon and finishing immigration, we’ll board a comfortable, air-conditioned coach to our hotel. After check-in, enjoy a delightful dinner before a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 2: Paris

Begin the day with a visit to the iconic Eiffel Tower, where we’ll enjoy breathtaking views from the 3rd floor, the tower’s highest point at an altitude of 300m. After short photo stops, a guided tour will take us through Concorde Square, Champ Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, and Trocadero.

Next, explore the magnificent Louvre Museum, home to legendary works of art like the Mona Lisa by Da Vinci, Dying Slave by Michelangelo, Venus of Milo, and approximately 35,000 other historic pieces. In the evening, we can opt for a charming Seine River cruise to see illuminated Paris (subject to availability).

The Louvre Museum: The Louvre, Paris’s grand art museum, blends classic French architecture with a modern glass pyramid. As the world’s largest museum, it showcases a vast collection from ancient civilizations to the Renaissance. Highlights include the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo, each a testament to enduring artistic excellence.

Day 3,4: Switzerland

On Day 3, continue your journey through scenic routes to Switzerland, check into Zurich, and conclude the day with dinner at an Indian restaurant.

Day 4, begins with breakfast, followed by the Swiss Alps via the Rotair revolving cable car to Mount Titlis for a glimpse of snow-capped peaks and glaciers, weather permitting. Continue the day with a drive to the majestic Rhine Falls, the largest waterfalls in the European Union. Conclude the day with a return to Zurich and a comforting Indian dinner.

Jungfraujoch: Known as the “Top of Europe,” stands as a pinnacle of natural beauty in the Swiss Alps, accessible via a stunning train ride through the Eiger and Mönch mountains. At Europe’s highest altitude railway station, visitors are greeted by the Sphinx observation deck, offering sweeping views of glaciers and peaks.

Lucerne: A serene Swiss city, lies cradled by majestic mountains and the tranquil Lake Lucerne, featuring historic landmarks like the iconic Chapel Bridge and poignant Lion Monument. Its picturesque old town, bustling with quaint shops and cafes, radiates an enchanting blend of natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.

Day 5: Switzerland

After breakfast, ascend by an option to explore Switzerland independently or embark on an optional tour to Jungfraujoch, Europe’s highest altitude station. The tour includes a train journey through stunning landscapes, a visit to the Sphinx observation deck, and leisure time in Interlaken. Afterwards, drive to Lucerne, visit Chapel Bridge, explore the town on foot, and end the day with a hearty dinner before returning to your hotel.

Rhine Falls: Thundering over a rocky cleft, the falls create a spectacular display of natural power and beauty, drawing visitors from around the world to witness the cascading waters that dominate the surrounding landscape with their mist and roar. As a natural wonder deeply rooted in Swiss heritage, the Rhine Falls offers a breathtaking experience that captures the raw, unbridled spirit of nature.

Day 6: Innsbruck via Munich & Wattens

Start our day with breakfast before taking a picturesque drive to Munich. Upon arrival, we’ll start with an orientation tour of Munich, Bavaria’s vibrant capital and the largest city in southern Germany, showcasing its historic landmarks and rich collection of museums. Our next destination is the Swarovski Crystal Museum in Wattens, Tyrol, a mesmerizing experience that enchants every visitor with its water-spouting giant and hidden Chambers of Wonder. Finally, we can check into our hotel in Innsbruck or Seefeld for a well-deserved overnight rest.

Munich: The capital of Bavaria is a city with a rich history and modern flair. Visit its famous beer gardens, explore the bustling Marienplatz, and discover a blend of traditional culture and contemporary attractions.

Swarovski Crystal Museum: The Swarovski Crystal Museum in Wattens, Austria, is a dazzling crystal art and innovation world. Wander through its stunning exhibitions and immersive installations and be mesmerized by the brilliance of Swarovski’s craftsmanship.

Day 7: Innsbruck – Venice

After checking out, we will arrive in Innsbruck, a destination that ranks among the top 10 most scenic tourist spots globally. We will opt for a walking city tour of Innsbruck, covering main attractions such as Maria Theresien Strasse, the Imperial Palace, the Cathedral, and more. Our next destination is Venice. Upon arrival at St. Mark’s Square via a private boat, the Vaporetto, we can admire the historic St. Mark’s Cathedral and its Bell Tower. During our time in Venice, we also glimpse iconic landmarks, including the Doge’s Palace, Procuratie Vecchie, National Library of St. Marks, and the Museum of Archaeology (from the outside).

Subsequently, we embark on a leisurely stroll through the city, savouring one of Venice’s most renowned experiences – a gondola ride along its pristine canals (Optional and if time permits). As the day approaches, we head for dinner and return to our luxurious accommodations.

Maria Theresien Strasse: The bustling heart of Innsbruck is lined with vibrant shops, charming cafes, and historic architecture. Stroll down this lively street and soak in the stunning Alps views and the rich cultural atmosphere.

St. Mark’s Cathedral: A Byzantine masterpiece is known for its opulent design and stunning mosaics. Explore its aweinspiring interior and the historic Piazza San Marco surrounding this iconic landmark.

Day 8: Venice to Rome via Pisa

The day commences with a journey to one of the Seven Wonders of the Medieval World – The Leaning Tower of Pisa. Renowned for its distinctive, nearly four-degree lean caused by an unstable foundation, this iconic campanile (bell tower) stands adjacent to the cathedral in the Italian city of Pisa. Explore this World Heritage site within the Piazza del Duomo, which encompasses four magnificent examples of medieval architecture, all set against the magnificent backdrop of the Square of Miracles.

As the day comes to a close, we check into a hotel near Rome, where a delectable dinner awaits.

Day 9: Rome with Vatican City

Following breakfast, embark on a journey to the historic city of Rome, known as the cradle of ancient civilization. Begin our day by making a wish at the Trevi Fountain, a grand Baroque masterpiece designed by the legendary Italian architect Nicola Salvi. Explore the iconic Colosseum from outside, the largest ancient amphitheater ever built, where epic contests once unfolded in the time of gladiators.

Drive past significant Roman monuments, including the Temples of Saturn, Concorde, the Arch of Augustus, and more. The climax of our journey culminates with a visit to Vatican City, the world’s tiniest sovereign state, housing the splendid St. Peter’s Basilica. By Catholic belief, this basilica serves as the ultimate resting place of Saint Peter, solidifying its status as the spiritual epicentre of Christianity and the most important Church in the world. After free exploring the city, head to the airport for our late-night return flight.

Renowned as the burial site of Saint Peter and celebrated for its opulent design, it remains one of the world’s most revered and visited sacred sites.

Day 10: Back to Kolkata

We arrived at Kolkata the following day and set out for our home with a heart full of precious memories of dreamy Europe.
